Almost every little gay boy had his favourite Barbie doll. So did we. It all started one year ago in Paris Galerie Lafayette when Michal has seen a reproduction of 1959 Barbie teen model. His heart stopped for a second and it was decided. Than Michal met David with his hot pink leggins, and we together found the magic of Ebay. The obsession became a  - see for yourself, first two analog pictures are from about two months ago and the last two digital pictures we took today.

Even though Barbie is the main face of Mattel, our most favourite plastic beauty from this amazing brand is a Midge doll - Barbie's best friend. She's got beautiful red hair and her mouth is shut - definitely better than Barbie's forever lasting american smile. In collecting we try to focus mostly on pieces from 80's and 90's - you would be surprised, but in that time she was the stylish diva who you could also meet in street, because she was inspired by actual pop culture and young women. It was in the late 90's when she became the stupid fluffy pink princess or almost bare naked whore.

The summer time is coming and we needed  a new suitcase for our summer trips. It's not that hard to go to the store and buy one, but we wanted a case with history. This one we found in a small antique shop in Prague.
